Anusara Yoga

Experience the Anusara Yoga Universal Principals of Alignment and find the fullest yoga within yourself.  In addition to the Anusara Universal Principles of Alignment applied to the yoga poses, the remarkable popularity of Anusara Yoga is due in large part to it’s uplifting philosophy epitomized by a “celebration of the heart” that looks for the good in all people and all things. As a result, students of all levels of ability and yoga experience are honored for their unique differences, limitations and talents.

Anusara Yoga is a highly esteemed and professional yoga system in which teachers are rigorously trained over several years in a broad and in-depth curriculum that encompasses studies in yoga philosophy, yoga history, biomechanics, anatomy, detailed postural alignment, adjusting, therapeutics and the art of teaching yoga.

Anusara Yoga 101
This six week course is for everyone new to yoga as well as for yogis who want to refine their practice with the Anusara method. If you are new you will get the best possible foundation and if you have taken other styles of yoga you will learn the Anusara Yoga Universal Principals of Alignment which will enhance your practice on all levels.  You will be infinitely rewarded in this course where you will learn a different Anusara Yoga Universal Principal of Alignment each week applied to poses from the Anusara Yoga Level 1 Syllabus and to life. You will learn these alignment principles which create tremendous core strength and which support and protect you in every yoga pose you will ever do as well as in your daily movement.  Check out the Anusara Yoga Level 1 Syllabus in Curriculum at www.anusara.com     No need to know Sanskrit, we show you the way. Our next start from beginning date is August 1st. Experienced yogis may drop in anytime to expand your practice with the Anusara Yoga Universal Principals of Alignment.

Anusara Yoga 2
In this class level we learn and fine tune the poses from the Level 1 & 2  Anusara Yoga Syllabus to build up strength, endurance and knowledge.  Each week a different yogic theme is woven into the classes along with Anusara alignment instruction.  Every class offers an expansive and varied sequence of poses which give different physical and psychological benefits.  Registered students receive a Review and Home Practice at the end of each week. Check out the Level 1 & 2 Syllabus in Curriculum at www.Anusara.com No need to know Sanskrit, we show you the way.   Experienced yogis may start anytime.

Anusara Yoga 3
These classes are for those who have a solid foundation of the Level 1 and Level 2 Syllabus poses integrating the Anusara Yoga Universal Principles of Alignment and have had six months of Anusara Yoga practice or a teachers recommendation.  Here we include poses from the Level 1, 2 and 3 Anusara Yoga Syllabus. Each week a different yogic theme  is woven into the classes.  Every class offers an expansive and varied sequence of poses which give different physical and psychological benefits. Private Yoga Sessions
These sessions give you the opportunity to work one on one with the instructor addressing your individual wants and needs for your  practice.  In this time you can receive instructions geared specifically to your body, adjustments, variations and special attention to any chronic injuries or circumstances. We can also design your personal home practice for your goals and lifestyle. Click to pay

Make-ups
Missed classes for those registered for the six week session can be made up only during the current session in any class at the same level or lower.  Please note that missed classes cannot be carried into a future session.

Saturday Night Satsangs
Everyone is welcome to attend the Saturday Night Satsangs where we enjoy a discourse on the Bhagavad Gita applied to current livijng via India with yoga and meditation master Paramahamsa Nithyananda followed by a guided Yoga Kriya and meditation. The Kriya’s are holding a few different yoga postures while doing some amazing pranayama (breathing) practices geared toward different conditions of the body/mind for healing. These are ancient secrets that go to the cause of imbalanced and diseases not just treating symptoms.
